NYSC camp is 21 days of training. Many prospective corps members wait till the last minute and end up buying things at higher prices in camp.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS TO CARRY
1. Call-up Letter: Print in color. Needed for camp entry.
2. Statement of Result: Original + 4 photocopies.
3. School ID Card: Original + 4 photocopies.
4. NERD Clearance Certificate: Compulsory for 2026 Batch.
5. Green Card: Print 2 copies from NYSC portal.
6. Passport Photographs: At least 8 copies, white background.
NYSC KITS AND THINGS TO BUY
Clothing: White T-shirts x4, White shorts x2, White socks x4, Jungle boots, Crested vest, Tracksuit, Duvet.
Toiletries: Bucket, Soap, Towel, Detergent, Sanitary pads, Toothbrush.
Others: Power bank, Torchlight, Padlock, Food flask, ATM card, Cash ₦20k-₦30k, Insecticide.
Tip: Buy jungle boots and white vests before camp. They are expensive inside.
IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE CAMP
1. Check your camp address: Know your state of deployment early.
2. Avoid night travel: Use NYSC-approved transport only.
3. Money: Go with at least ₦20,000 for feeding and extras.
4. Health: Get medical report if sick. It helps with redeployment.
5. Join groups: Get updates from your state NYSC WhatsApp/Telegram group.
