Today is a big day for thousands of Nigerian graduates.
The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has scheduled Thursday, September 3, 2026 as the official passing out date for 2025 Batch 'B' Stream II corps members nationwide.
This marks the end of one year of mandatory national service for the set. After months of primary assignment, community development service, and camp experience, corps members will today complete their service to the nation.
According to a statement by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, all 2025 Batch 'B' Stream II corps members are expected to report to their respective Local Government areas today for the passing out exercise.
NYSC also confirmed that Certificates of National Service will be issued to eligible corps members at the Local Government level today. Corps members are advised to go with their ID cards and complete all clearance requirements before collecting their certificates.
The scheme congratulated the corps members for successfully completing their service year and urged them to remain good ambassadors of NYSC as they move to the next phase of their lives, whether in employment, entrepreneurship, or further studies.
To all 2025 Batch 'B' Stream II corps members: Congratulations on this achievement. Your service to the nation is appreciated.
